After about a hundred zombies stepped forward, they finally stopped.
But, the large crowd of high-level zombies behind them remained standing on the spot as if awaiting orders.
Chu Miao wanted to sound out the leader of the zombie horde. So, she stepped forward and looked at the leading zombie seriously.
This one was more human than the rest.
Even the smell of decay on it was very faint.
"What are you doing here and how did you enter the city?" She asked casually.
The zombie tilted its head as if thinking before it spoke.
We are here to conquer." The zombie finally said.
"Conquer?" Chu Miao asked in confusion.
"Yes, humans are pathetic and weak. They should be eliminated and give way to the undead."
Chu Miao and the others were surprised that the zombies actually knew that they were undead and could replace humans.
Chu Miao thought of the ghost tribe she had seen in the Immortal Realm.
Was it just like the zombies?
The people there were nothing but skeletons of immortals who had already died.
They continued to cultivate as long as they had a wisp of soul remaining.
They would then cultivate a new body, but since they were already dead and were living in another form, they were called the undead.

"Then why not just reach an agreement with humans and have us live separately? Why pursue humans and kill them?" Ye Xuan asked, remembering how in the Immortal Realm each species had their own territories.
"That’s not possible. We want to get stronger and only by eating humans can we do that. So, you want us to talk to our food and live separately?" The tone of the zombie was almost mocking.
Chu Miao realized that zombies and humans could not really coexist. Because for both of them, one was prey and the other was a predator.
Humans hunted zombies to get their crystal cores and absorb them to get stronger, while zombies hunted humans to eat their flesh and improve their strength as well.
So, they couldn’t live peacefully no matter what.
"Then this conversation is useless." Chu Miao said solemnly after figuring out the situation.
Just as her words dropped, a flash of light lit up on her palm and then a broad sword extended from her hand.
The sword was made with light element.
Injuring a zombie with it would ensure that it doesn’t recover immediately and a follow-up attack could cut it down.
The zombies seemed to be in sync as well as they all moved at the same time and rushed forward.
However, unlike before when zombies used to attack people randomly, this army actually had formations.
"Looks like negotiation is over." Jing Xian said with a grin, already summoning his weapon.
"No need to hold back." Ye Xuan ordered.
"Yes, boss." The people behind Chu Miao and Ye Xuan said in unison.
Then a clash happened the next moment as the pressure of a late stage nascent soul cultivators erupted from both Chu Miao and Ye Xuan.
The others weren’t outdone and also released their pressure.
This kind of pressure slowed down the zombies’ movement but to their surprise, it didn’t stop them.
If it were a normal human being, such pressure would have made them completely immobile.
The intelligent zombies’ expressions changed slightly.
Clearly, they hadn’t expected such power.
"Attack." The leading zombie ordered immediately.
The zombies behind it responded immediately and formed groups.
Some became the vanguard, others mid-range attacks, and the other groups were rear support.
"Be careful everyone." Chu Miao warned after seeing this.
Some zombies were coordinating and using special abilities just like the humans.
In a moment, the underground parking lot descended into chaos.
Chu Miao and Ye Xuan moved at the same time and attacked the leaders who had evolved directly.

The sword still shining on her hand was raised high and she brought it down instantly.
The zombie reacted quickly, raising its arm to block the attack.

This seemed to surprise the zombie, but Chu Miao didn’t give it the opportunity to react as three more zombies attacked her from three different directions.
Their movements were very fast. So fast that if it weren’t for their strength, a level four or five superpower user would be no match for them.
"Not bad." Ye Xuan’s voice sounded as he appeared beside Chu Miao.
With a wave of his hand,
Boom!
A powerful force blasted the three zombies away.
"These zombies now actually know how to cooperate." he added, his eyes narrowing into slits.
"This is getting interesting." Chu Miao said this with a nod.
Behind them, the others had already entered the battle.
Chu Hao laughed loudly as he smashed a zombie away.
"Haha! Finally something worth fighting!"
However, even as he spoke, his expression was serious.
