Chapter 109 Team Building

Chapter 109 Team Building

"The key to palpation lies in sensing the tension and subtle nodules in the client's muscles."

"Instead of pressing with your hands, use your fingertips to 'listen'. Now, take turns coming up to the podium and find the tension points of these students' supraspinatus muscles."

Inside the training room of the activity center, more than 20 new employees were sitting upright, listening attentively to the trainer's explanation.

At the front of the room, several employees served as temporary models, rolling up their sleeves and waiting for the employees below to line up and practice.

During a lull in the negotiations, Chen Jun took the opportunity to visit the site and inspect the progress of the preparations.

The activity center now has a basic structure and security personnel are in place.

Under Hu Qian's arrangement, everyone wore uniforms and were stationed at designated points or on patrol.

Meanwhile, the professional staff responsible for core services have already begun their pre-job training in an orderly manner.

Based on the current progress, the activity center will be able to enter the trial operation phase in no time.

Chen Jun walked quietly in the outdoor corridor of the training room, his hands behind his back.

As I approached the front door, I greeted the teacher from the training institution who was giving a lesson. Just as I was about to turn towards the office area, a female voice called out to me.

"Boss Chen?"

Chen Jun turned around upon hearing the voice and found it was an unfamiliar face.

The girl wore thin-rimmed glasses and dressed very quietly; she was probably in her early twenties.

"Hello." He stopped and looked at me with a questioning gaze.

The other person quickly stepped forward. "Boss Chen, hello. My name is Bi Fanzhi. I was introduced by Sister Hu. I worked under her as an administrative assistant for two years. After finishing some personal matters at home, I thought I would come and continue working for her."

Bi Fanzhi thought for a moment and then explained, "I had arranged to meet Sister Hu today, but she had to go out for a while and asked me to wait for her here. I didn't expect to run into you."

Chen Jun nodded: "Since she's Manager Hu's former subordinate, I'm relieved. Since she's not here, I'll take her place and give you a brief introduction to the situation here."

Hu Qian had mentioned before that she had several former subordinates with whom she worked very well and who were very capable, but unfortunately most of them were unable to join the resort due to personal reasons.

The girl with glasses in front of me is probably the only one who showed up for the appointment.

"Then I'll have to trouble you, boss." She bowed slightly.

"No need to be polite." Chen Jun gestured for the other person to keep up with him, then turned and walked towards the office area. "I won't lie to you, as a newly opened section, the activity center has a great need for management personnel. As you can see, Manager Hu has to do everything himself, so he has a heavy responsibility."

"Yes, I can totally imagine that." Bi Fanzhi nodded in agreement. "Sister Hu has always been like this. Before, at the InterContinental Hotel, she was a well-known workaholic who was extremely responsible for everything she handled."

"Oh?" Chen Jun raised an eyebrow. "This is the first time I've heard someone else's evaluation of her from a different perspective. It seems that inviting her to join Shita wasn't a mistake."

While chatting briefly, Chen Jun also observed Bi Fanzhi's words and actions.

From our initial contact, this new girl seems poised and confident, with a clear mind and generally no problems. She does indeed resemble some of the girls Hu Qian has mentored.

For the next hour or so, Chen Jun led Bi Fanzhi to the conference room and had an in-depth conversation with him about his job responsibilities, the culture of Xita, and the positioning of the activity center.

Due to the different architectural styles, the meeting rooms in the activity center are much more impressive than the wooden houses in the resort.

But if Chen Jun had to choose, he would still prefer the environment of the resort, which felt more cozy and calming.

However, this preference may simply be due to getting used to it.

After lunch, Chen Jun led Bi Fanzhi on a walk around the main functional areas of the activity center, finally arriving at the apartment area located at the back of the building complex.

"Your dormitory will be arranged here, but there aren't many management staff at the activity center yet. If you feel scared living alone, you can make do with Manager Hu for now."

The activity center has set up two apartment buildings. One is for ordinary employees, and the other is smaller but better decorated and more private. Chen Jun plans to arrange for the management to move in.

"It's alright, boss. The staff dormitory is right next door, it's very lively. And there's a security guard too, so I can stay here without any problem."

Bi Fanzhi pointed to the security personnel who were resting with their eyes closed not far away.

Before the official opening, the existing security guards' jobs were truly just "passive duties".

Apart from occasional scheduled patrols, they can sleep most of the time and have a very leisurely life.

"Okay, then you can handle it yourself. Just contact Manager Hu if you need anything."

As Chen Jun was speaking, a familiar Mercedes-Benz sedan slowly pulled up to the side of the road.

It is Hu Qian's own private car.

The other person got out of the car, greeted Chen Jun first, then turned to Bi Fanzhi with a familiar smile: "Oh, so you've already made contact with our big boss?"

"Sister Hu!" When Bi Fanzhi saw her, he was visibly more relaxed, and his tone became lighter. "Boss Chen is very good and very patient. He has explained everything to me clearly."

Chen Jun looked at Hu Qian: "Alright, the main character is back. Your people are now in your hands."

Hu Qian smiled and nodded.

As it was getting late, Chen Jun was about to leave when the other party suddenly called out to him, "Boss, please wait a moment. Since you're here, there's something important I need to discuss with you."

Chen Jun understood and gestured for Bi Fanzhi to familiarize himself with the environment first, and then followed Hu Qian to the other party's office.

"This place is even more impressive than my office at the resort," Chen Jun joked, looking at the interior.

Although he set the tone for the space planning and basic decoration of the activity center, he completely handed over the specific layout to Hu Qian.

"No, I've already set up your private office. It's upstairs, and it's bigger and has a better view than mine," Hu Qian said somewhat embarrassedly after hearing Chen Jun's teasing.

Chen Jun then realized that he hadn't been to his office since the activity center started construction.

"Alright, let's get down to business." He sat down on the sofa next to me. "What's so important that you're in such a hurry to keep me here?"

"Here's the thing, I recently managed to find two top professionals in the industry through some connections and channels. One is a massage master who is skilled in traditional physiotherapy, and the other is a nutritionist who specializes in sports nutrition and health management."

Hu Qian reported to her supervisor with some excitement.

"That's good news," Chen Jun affirmed first. "Do you want to discuss with me how to determine their benefits, or do you need any special approval for additional fees?"

Hu Qian shook her head: "It's not about salary or money. These two professionals are undoubtedly capable, but their situation... is a bit special."

"What makes it special?"

Chen Jun's interest was piqued, and he unconsciously sat up straighter.

What he fears most now is encountering troubles that money can't solve.
