Chapter 807: Zeng Xia's Lament

"Huh? You're back so early?" Yu Xiang was already in bed, sitting on the bed reading a book. When she saw the man come back, she subconsciously checked the time; it was only 9:30.

"The money's already been donated, what's the point of staying there? We might as well come back sooner!" Huang Xiaochuan said as he walked toward the bathroom.

Yu Xiang originally wanted to tell the man something, but seeing that he left a message and ran to take a shower, she could only wait for him to come out before telling him.

"That makes sense, time for bed!" Huang Xiaochuan put the book on the bedside table, turned off the lamp, and snuggled into the covers.

Yu Xiang glanced at the man, smiled and shook her head, then put down her book, turned off the light, and went to sleep.

"He called me and said he'll be home the day after tomorrow."
