Chapter 109 Lu Renkui finished listening to Boruist's needs
After listening to Boruister's needs, Lu Renkui directly disassembled the WQBYRZM system's twin tails and used them as a demonstration for Boruister.
While watching Lu Renkui's demonstration in his consciousness space with his eyes closed, Borist first braided Olivia's long hair in reality.
The braids were finished, but since it was Borist's first time doing it, there were bound to be some imperfections, and Olivia's hairstyle looked a bit sloppy.
Borist crossed his arms and watched for a while, then let all of Olivia's hair down, combed it again, and finally used magic to replicate Lu Renkui's braiding technique from the consciousness space.
The braids made with the magic comb look much better than the ones Borest made by hand before.
Borest braided Carola's hair in the same way.
Two pretty little girls happily led their brother out of the castle.
A row of carriages was parked in front of the castle. Borest glanced at them, spotted the carriage carrying the servants, and led his two sisters over.
Just then, Borest heard a woman's voice calling him from behind.
Borest listened carefully and recognized the voice as that of his cousin, Anne Bella.
"Who is this...?" Lu Renkui asked the system WQBYRZM.
"The cousin who rejected Helene," the system WQBYRZM replied.
Borest turned his head and, sure enough, saw his cousin Annie Bella.
Anne Bella was wearing a white, fitted, belted dress today, the huge skirt almost dragging on the ground; she wore a beautiful pearl necklace around her neck; and a white hat with two white roses in it.
Annie Bella was still holding the Snow Spirit Rabbit in her arms.
The Snow Spirit Rabbit was also dressed very beautifully, its snow-white fur shimmering like silk in the sunlight.
"Is something the matter, cousin Annebella?" Borest asked.
“Why are you sitting with the servants?” Annebella retorted.
“It’s always been like this,” Borest said. “Are you only noticing it today?”
Anne Bella's smile froze—she had meant to say something like, "How could you do this? Why don't you come and have a baby with us?"
But Borest has made it clear that he and his two sisters have been suffering this treatment for years, and Annebella and her entire family have witnessed it, yet no one speaks up. Everyone accepts that it's deserved for them to be bullied.
Anne Bella suddenly realized that Borest was not as easy to deal with as it seemed on the surface.
“Cousin Annie Bella, is there anything else?” Borest asked. “If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my sisters to the car now.”
That's what he said, but in reality, Borist stood there for a second or two, and seeing that Annebella showed no sign of speaking, he immediately grabbed his two younger sisters and ran to the carriage.
Anne Bella wanted to call out to Borest again, but seeing that Borest had already boarded the carriage, Anne Bella could only turn around reluctantly and get into her own carriage due to the constraints of etiquette.
Anne Bella entered the carriage, and sitting opposite her was her cousin Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was looking out of the carriage when she didn't even notice Annebella getting on.
Annebella didn't remind Elizabeth, but instead followed Isabella's gaze and noticed that Isabella was looking in the direction of the carriage where her cousins, except for Borest, were.
Anne Bella raised an eyebrow, feeling as if she knew something, and to confirm her guess, she suddenly asked, "Elizabeth, what are you looking at?"
Hearing someone call her name, Elizabeth instinctively replied, "I was looking at the scenery." Then she turned around and met Annebella's standard smiling face.
“I see the scenery around the castle every day. Where are you looking? I can tell you some fun things,” Annebella said enthusiastically.
“No, no need, cousin Annebella,” Elizabeth stammered in refusal.
"Okay, so you weren't really looking at the scenery at all, were you?" Elizabeth stroked the Snow Spirit Rabbit on her lap and looked at Elizabeth with a smile.
Elizabeth clutched her light blue dress tightly. The pale pink rose fairy was sleeping on her head, a stark contrast to Elizabeth's tension.
"Don't be nervous, I swear I won't tell your aunt and uncle," Annebella said with a smile, secretly wondering who Elizabeth had taken a liking to.
It's not hard to guess. Given Bruce's feigned gentleness, it's quite normal for someone as naive as Elizabeth to believe him.
Annebella inwardly scoffed at Elizabeth's foolishness, then asked with feigned concern, "Do you like Bruce?"
When her secret was revealed, Elizabeth was at a loss for words, and her face instantly turned as red as a pink apple.
“Lisa, don’t be nervous. I used to like a boy too. I’m only telling you, don’t tell anyone else, okay?” Annie Bella smiled and began to make up a love story that sounded more believable.
After Annebella finished crafting a tragic story that would leave both men and women speechless, Elizabeth seemed to believe it—because Annebella noticed that Elizabeth's emotions actually followed the emotions in the story she was telling.
The carriages had already started moving, one after another, magical carriages flying through the air, the wind blowing in from outside lifting Elizabeth and Anne Bella's loose hair.
"So you really haven't contacted him again? And haven't seen him again?" Elizabeth's eyes were a little red.
“Yes, that’s right,” Annie Bella said, leaning against the windowsill with one hand, facing the blue sky in the distance. “I regret that I didn’t tell him my feelings in time, so that he might not have left with regrets.”
"What a pity." Elizabeth was now completely convinced.
“So you have to be brave and say it out loud, Lisa,” Anne said with a wry smile. “Otherwise, you’ll just keep missing out and leaving yourself with a lot of regrets.”
Elizabeth lowered her head and thought for a while, then clenched her fist and said, "I understand, Cousin Annebella! I will go and tell Cousin Bruce how I feel."
Upon hearing Elizabeth's words, Anne Bella curled her lips: "Very good, Elizabeth has successfully taken the bait. If this matter is exposed, then Uncle and Aunt's family will not have much inheritance rights, which means I can get a larger share of the property."
After arriving at the church, people got off the bus one after another.
Borest led his two sisters at the very back of the Flor family.
Surrounded by noble young masters and ladies, who also constitute the largest group of students at the magic academy, the group of teenagers around him basically recognized Borist.
Borist felt more gazes falling on him. He looked toward the strongest gaze and his eyes met those of a girl.
The girl with light red hair wearing a light yellow dress—Borist noticed that the girl's hair color was very similar to Carola's—saw Borist looking at her and immediately turned her head away, trying to pretend that she had accidentally turned her head to look at Borist.
A boy with blond hair, blue eyes, and a muscular build stood next to the girl with light red hair. Borest recognized him as Hayley.
"Ah, that's Celeste, keep your distance," Lu Renkui reminded Boriste.
After indicating that he understood, Borist glanced around again, and those who met his gaze quickly looked away.
Seeing that not many people were watching him anymore, Borest turned his gaze back to the goddess statue in front of him.
The priest read a long prayer that made one drowsy—because Boris felt his two sisters beside him were about to close their eyes.
Two four-year-old children are at a very active age, and it's really uncomfortable for them to sit for five or six hours at a time.
But there was nothing he could do. He was praying now, and if he did anything that didn't conform to the doctrines and rules, he would be scolded by the priest and probably punished when he got home. All Boris could do was shake his two younger sisters awake to keep them from falling asleep.
After the priest said "Amen," the goddess's birthday celebration was finally about to begin. Just as a large cake was brought out and Evangeline, favored by the gods, was about to cut it, the stained-glass window in the church suddenly shattered.
Then, a girl dressed entirely in black flew in through the shattered stained-glass window on a broom.
The girl with purplish-black hair wore pigtails, with a black datura flower tucked into the base of each pigtail. Her black dress and black leather shoes contrasted sharply with her snow-white skin.
"Hey, hello there, you lowly people of the Light Clan!" The girl crossed her legs, one hand resting on what looked like a charred broom that had been burned, and the other hand to her lips as she began to laugh "Hehehe".
Meanwhile, Borui was listening to Lu Renkui and the system WQBYRZM's explanation of the girl's identity in his mind.
"Elena is out," said System WQBYRZM.
"Her hobbies are finding someone stronger than her to fight, and also stirring up trouble. The way she talks about it is pretty childish, huh?" Lu Renkui said.
"Isn't it obvious?" System WQBYRZM took out some sunflower seeds and popped them into its mouth. "They've chosen an important day to bring people here to provoke us. What else are they here for if not to cause trouble?"
"That's right, you're eating sunflower seeds again!"
The next part is about Lu Renkui arguing with the system WQBYRZM.
Borist covered his forehead and withdrew from the consciousness space, looking up at Elena, the girl whom Lu Renkui thought was talking in a chuunibyou way.
Borist didn't understand what "chuunibyou" meant, but he felt that the girlish style on his head was indeed a bit... too exaggerated.
However, they brought people with them...
Borest began to think about where it would be safest to hide with his sister.
"Don't you always say that your god will protect you?" Elena ignored the people on the ground pointing at her with their wands and cursing her as a witch. She chuckled and raised her wand, which was decorated with a silver skull, and then cast a dark spell on the church's magic lamp: "Then let me see if your god will protect you in this time of crisis, nobles of the God of Light."
One by one, the magic lamps in the church went black, then emitted thin, purplish-black rays of light, forming a huge, dark purple magic circle.
This magic circle is composed of several magic circles.
The people in the church panicked. The first few people to take out their wands stretched them out and tried to break the huge magic circle.
But all of this was to no avail; on the contrary, their magic provided a source of magic for the magic circle.
"Thank you for providing your magic. This makes things much easier for me." Elena smiled sweetly, but people saw the shadow of a demon in her.
Borist first placed protective shields on his two younger sisters, then held them in his arms to keep them from being too scared. He then looked up and began to study the patterns on the church.
At that moment, a commotion arose in the crowd, and someone shouted, "Young Master Heledi Lepsner has stood up!"
"What's the use of him standing up?" someone else asked.
"Everyone, although I am young, please believe in my abilities. I have seen a way to break this magic circle in a book," Heledi said confidently. "Please don't worry, I will rescue you all."
