Chapter 54 was taken back.
It must be said that Macachi possesses a natural advantage as an A-class individual—an exceptionally strong body and remarkable recovery ability. After just two more days in the hospital, he was already running around freely. So, the Pollard father and son took Macachi back to their shop aboard Maria Elisa's spaceship.
“We’re here. You can stay with us until we find your family,” Pollalid said as he led Macachi upstairs. “If you need anything, you can talk to your father. If you don’t want to talk to your father, you can talk to me first, and then I’ll talk to him.”
"Do you understand?" Pollalid turned to look at Makachi and found that Makachi was not looking around, but was looking down at Pollalid.
"Is there something you're unhappy about?" Pollalid asked.
"No, what do you need me to do in the next few days?" Maka asked, but in his mind he was still thinking about how to take Pollard away and keep him captive after he returned to the Polande family.
"It's good that there are no problems. You go into your room and tidy up first. I'll go downstairs to help Dad. When I have some free time, I'll teach you how to entertain guests, or you can learn to cook a few dishes from Dad."
“Okay.” Makachi nodded, looking very obedient, but his eyes couldn’t hide his longing for Pollalid.
Makachi stood at the top of the stairs, looking down at Pollalid. Only when Pollalid was out of sight did she reluctantly turn her gaze away.
As soon as Pollalid went downstairs, he saw Maria Elisa, who came to their house for dinner every day, tasting the fruit wine that she had made for Pallas.
Maria Elisa greeted Pollalid and casually asked how Macachi was doing.
“Makachi? He said he’s fine. I asked him what his last name is, and he said he doesn’t know.” Pollalid scratched his head, feeling a bit of a headache—if Maria Elisa’s guess was correct, then Makachi was very resistant to the police, and forcing him to see the police might lead to some unexpected problems. But the fact that he didn’t know his own last name made finding his family even more difficult.
"Doesn't know his own name? Looks like he's lost his memory." Maria Elisa raised an eyebrow. "This guy doesn't look like some nameless vagrant."
“Ah, have you lost your memory?” Pollalid scratched his head. “That would be even more troublesome.”
“Not necessarily. If he remembers what his place looks like, maybe we can use that as a clue to find him.” Maria Elisa snapped her fingers and said with a grin, “I’ll go ask him.”
“Are you going to ask? I’ll go with you.” Pollalid remembered the incident last night when Macachi snatched Maria Elisa’s personal terminal. In addition, Macachi always had a sour face when facing Maria Elisa. He was worried that Maria Elisa would run into trouble with Macachi, or even get hurt.
“Don’t worry, you go ahead with your work. I’ll avoid his triggers when talking to him.” Maria Elisa put down her cup, jumped up the stairs, and turned back to give Pollard a bright smile. “I’ll be careful.”
Pollalid was about to say something more, but he heard Maria Elisa say, "Don't forget I'm the best of the girls at Kinkles Military Academy, it'll be very difficult for him to get me into trouble. But..." Maria Elisa looked at Pollalid and smiled.
Pollalid's words caught in his throat. He thought about it and realized that Maria Elisa's self-defense and combat abilities were definitely stronger than his, so he didn't need to worry about that.
Besides, if Makachi really gets angry, it's not something I can stop, is it? Pollard thought to himself, "Will I cause trouble for Lisa?"
"If you can't handle it, remember to call us," Pollalid said.
Maria Elisa, feeling pleased with the excited message from her brain system WQBYRZM that the progress bar had changed, replied cheerfully, "Okay."
Makachi sat on the bed, with nothing on him. The room had already been tidied up by the Pollard father and son, so Makachi had nothing to do. Just then, he heard footsteps running upstairs.
Makachi initially thought it was Pollalid, so she opened the door with a smile, only to be met with a sharp rap on the head.
"Oops, sorry, did I knock on you?" Maria Elisa, who was about to knock on the door, didn't expect the person to open it suddenly, causing her two knuckles to hit Makachi hard on the head.
Upon realizing that the person in front of him was not Pollalid, Makachi's expression immediately turned sour. He frowned, squinted, and pushed the doorknob, trying to keep Maria Elisa out.
A pair of strong hands gripped the door and rested on the door frame. The veins on the back of their hands stood out from the force. The door didn't close; instead, Maria Elisa forced it open.
Macaqi was stunned for a moment, and Maria Elisa took the opportunity to slam the door open.
Makachi was also violently slammed to the ground.
